So a calculation was done of how riders who finished at least two hillclimbs did relative to their average in each week. Some weeks, most riders did better than their averages, but other weeks most did worse.
The following is the factor the average rider did relative to his average, with some extra weight given to the results of riders who did a large number of climbs. Also listed are the inverses, equal to one divided by the factors:

For example, Tim Kurreck scored 100 points at Montebello. His adjusted score is 104.7. Phil Duffy scored 100 points at Mt Diablo. His adjusted score becomes 96.77. These adjustements are for personal interest only -- in the standings both Tim and Phil still receive 100 points.
An interesting observation is scores were low for the two steepest climbs so far, Bohlman and Quimby. This may be because many riders were undergeared for these climbs and thus rode below their potentials. At Montebello and Kings, in which there was a group working together at the front for much of the way, most riders also did below average relative to the first to the top. On the other hand, at Tamalpais the 4 rolling miles on Ridgecrest seems to have tightened up the results a bit.
Note the week average is also listed. Like the rider scores, this is adjusted for how the riders who showed up did relative to their averages. It depends both on how riders did relative to their average and the nature of the riders who showed up. The "average average" is the average rider's average adjusted score for riders who showed in a particular week. Both of these are attempts to assess the average speed of riders who showed up during a given week.
